1. Who This Notice Applies To

This notice describes how the operator of filter-press.org handles personal information in connection with this website and related business communications. In this notice, “Filter Press”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the website operator. Filter Press is the website name.

The website provides information about industrial filtration equipment. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected] or at No.10 Hanghai Road, Zhengzhou, China.

2. Information We Receive

  • Enquiries and catalog requests: the name, email address, optional WhatsApp number and message you submit. Your message may include your company, country, application, equipment model, capacity or other project information.
  • Business correspondence: information you send by email or WhatsApp, including drawings, photographs, specifications, quotation discussions and support requests.
  • Technical website information: your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, access times, referral information where provided, and security or error records that website infrastructure may process.
  • Comments: if you use an enabled comment form, the comment, display name, email address and optional website you provide. Technical information may also be processed to administer comments and detect abuse.

Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through a general enquiry or comment form. When sending information about another person, make sure you are entitled to share it.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used to respond to enquiries, provide access to requested product literature, discuss equipment suitability, prepare quotations, manage business correspondence and assist with support questions. It may also be used to operate the website, identify technical faults, moderate comments, prevent spam and misuse, keep relevant business records and meet applicable legal requirements.

Optional contact details help us communicate through your chosen channel. If you do not provide information needed to understand or answer a request, we may need to ask for clarification or may be unable to provide the requested response.

A catalog request or equipment enquiry is a request for that service; it is not, by itself, consent to unrelated promotional subscriptions.

5. When Information May Be Shared

Information may be handled by people responsible for your enquiry and by service providers that support hosting, website delivery, security, email and communication. Relevant project information may also need to be shared with manufacturing or technical partners involved in evaluating or supplying the equipment you request. The information shared should be limited to what is needed for that purpose.

Information may be disclosed where required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. Public comments are a separate case: the information you choose to publish can be seen by other visitors.

This notice does not make third-party platforms part of our website. Those platforms also handle information under their own terms and privacy notices.

6. Website Services and External Links

WordPress and enquiry forms. The website uses WordPress and Fluent Forms for its enquiry and catalog forms. Submitted information is processed through the website’s form system and configured notification or communication services. The use of a plugin does not, by itself, mean the plugin developer receives every submission.

Cloudflare. Website traffic is delivered through Cloudflare. This service can process connection and request information, including IP addresses and security signals, to deliver and protect the website. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts. Some page fonts are requested from Google’s font servers. Those requests can disclose connection information such as an IP address and browser request details. See the Google Privacy Policy.

YouTube. Some pages include YouTube videos. Depending on the player settings and your actions, the player can connect to Google or YouTube and process connection details, device identifiers and viewing interactions. Playing or opening a video may involve cookies or similar technologies governed by Google’s policies. A privacy-enhanced embed setting does not remove all third-party data processing.

WhatsApp. WhatsApp links take you to an external service. If you send a message there, your account or telephone details and the information you choose to send are handled through WhatsApp as well as by the people responding to your message. See the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. You can email us instead if you prefer.

Other external links may lead to product references, technical publications or other websites. Their operators are responsible for their own information practices.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Website functions and third-party services can use cookies or similar technologies for sessions, security, preferences and embedded content. The technologies involved depend on the functions you use and the site configuration. A request to an external font server can involve personal information even when it does not set a cookie.

If you select the option to remember your name, email and website when commenting, those details may be stored in your browser for the next comment. This is optional. Browser settings can be used to manage or delete cookies, although blocking some technologies may affect website functions.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential storage or access on your device, that consent must be obtained before the relevant technology is used. Reading this notice or continuing to browse does not by itself provide that consent.

8. Public Comments

When comments are enabled, an approved comment may display your comment text, chosen name and website link. The comment form states that your email address is not published. Do not put contact details, confidential specifications or information about other people into a comment you do not want to be public.

Use the enquiry form or email for project discussions and personal follow-up. Comment moderation and abuse prevention may involve technical information associated with the submission.

9. How Long Information Is Kept

There is no single fixed retention period for every enquiry or record. Retention depends on the purpose of the information, whether an enquiry is still active, whether it becomes a quotation, order or support matter, and any applicable accounting, legal, dispute or security requirements.

Information should be retained only while it is reasonably needed for those purposes. Deletion requests may need to be assessed against legal obligations and the need to retain relevant business records. Copies in backups may remain until the applicable backup cycle replaces them. Contact us to ask about information associated with your enquiry.

10. International Handling and Security

The website serves visitors in different countries and provides a business contact address in China. Correspondence, hosting, website-delivery and communication services may involve handling information in China or in other countries where the relevant service providers operate. Applicable data-protection requirements and any required transfer safeguards depend on the processing involved.

Protecting information requires appropriate access controls and technical and organisational measures. No internet transmission, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary confidential information and contact us if you believe information associated with your enquiry has been misused.

11. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, an objection to certain processing, or a copy in a portable format. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and to complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request”. Tell us the email address or other contact detail used in your enquiry and describe what you are requesting. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Do not send an identity document unless it is specifically requested and an appropriate method has been agreed.

Requests are assessed under applicable law. Some information may need to be retained where a legal obligation or another lawful reason applies. If you no longer want follow-up on a particular enquiry, let us know through the same contact channel.

12. Updates and Contact

This website is intended for industrial and business audiences and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

This notice may be updated when website functions or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the most recent revision. Where applicable law requires additional notice of a change, that notice should be provided.
