VEHICLE-MOUNTED FILTRATION / MULTI-SITE DUTY

Mobile Filter Press for On-Site Dewatering

Bring solid–liquid separation to the location where slurry is generated. Plan the filter press, transport arrangement, utilities and cake handling as one package for temporary projects or work across multiple sites.

Share your slurry, required throughput, operating locations and how often the equipment needs to move.

Evaluate Mobility Around the Work Schedule

Several operating locations

Review how many sites or feed points must be served, the distance between them and the available operating time after each move.

Temporary or changing projects

Compare a relocatable installation where the slurry source or project duration changes. Include connections, commissioning and site preparation in the plan.

Processing close to the feed

Compare moving the filtration equipment with transporting untreated slurry. Assess both cake and filtrate routes, total handling costs and the time available for treatment.

Published Product Information

The supplier provides the following product-level information. No individual model schedule, filtration-area range or guaranteed throughput is published for the mobile package.

Installation styleVehicle-mounted integratedConfirm the actual carrier, transport arrangement, supporting structure and scope of supply.
Process principleSolid–liquid separationSlurry is filtered through cloth; retained solids form cake. Define collection and handling for both streams.
Filtration pressure0.6–1.4 MPaEquivalent to 6–14 bar. A product-page range, not a verified operating setting for every mobile build; confirm the selected equipment limits.

Request confirmed filtration area, plate dimensions, chamber volume, cycle capacity, transport and operating weights, overall dimensions and electrical demand for the proposed package. The published pressure range does not substitute for those data.

Define What the Mobile Package Includes

Supplier equipment example showing the press within a support frame. Visible platforms, piping and covers do not establish the standard supply scope or a road-transport approval.

Match the press and its connections to the site

The mobile format changes how the equipment is deployed. Filtration still depends on the slurry, filter medium, plate pack and complete operating cycle.

Specify the feed and filtrate connections, power supply, cake discharge space and access for cleaning and maintenance. List supplied equipment and site-provided services separately in the quotation.

Press & automation

Confirm plate type, filter cloth, closing mechanism, plate movement, cake discharge and controls. A membrane stage or an automatic cloth-washing system must be specified separately.

Pump & auxiliary equipment

Define the feed pump and any tanks, conditioning equipment, washing system, compressor, generator or conveyor. Confirm which items are supplied and how they connect.

Carrier & operating support

Agree the vehicle or transport arrangement, mounting, support points, access platforms and lifting provisions. Provide site conditions and transport constraints for the proposal.

Separate Transport Requirements from Operating Requirements

StageReviewInformation to agree
TransportCarrier capacity, route access, loading dimensions, lifting and restraint. The actual transport weight and approved lifting or securing instructions. Confirm any road-use requirements for the selected vehicle or trailer.
Position and supportGround conditions, level, support loads, stability and operating access.Required site preparation and supports. Mobility does not automatically remove the need for foundations or other civil work.
Connect and operatePower, feed, filtrate routing, wash water and other specified utilities.Connection details, total electrical demand, commissioning checks and the agreed operator tasks.
Clear and relocateResidual slurry, retained liquid, cake, cleaning and disconnected services. The drain-down, cleaning and transport preparation procedure. Filtration is carried out in the approved stationary operating configuration.

Setup time depends on the package, access, utilities and site readiness. A photograph of a mobile frame does not confirm a towable chassis, road registration or the inclusion of a vehicle.

Plan the Full Filtration and Material-Handling Cycle

01

Prepare & connect

Position and support the unit as specified. Connect and check utilities, feed and collection routes, then prepare the press for the selected duty.

02

Filter the slurry

Feed slurry into the closed plate pack within the confirmed limits. Liquid passes through the cloth while solids accumulate as cake.

03

Discharge & collect

Stop feed and verify depressurization before opening. Collect cake and filtrate through the agreed routes, then clean and prepare for the next batch or relocation.

Estimate capacity using complete cycles and the hours available between moves. Automatic control does not by itself establish continuous filtration, unattended operation or treatment while the vehicle is moving.

Projects That May Benefit from Relocatable Filtration

Mining and changing work areas

Review the ore or process stream, particle behavior and relocation schedule. Include available utilities, water recovery and cake collection at each location.

Temporary treatment and response

For changing or temporary treatment duties, identify the contaminants, expected feed variation and the permitted routes for cake and filtrate before deployment.

Maintenance and contract services

For work across customer locations or feed points, define connection arrangements, cleaning between duties, transport access and the useful operating hours per visit.

Filtration separates suspended solids; the resulting liquid may require further treatment. Confirm reuse or disposal requirements rather than assuming that clear filtrate can be discharged directly.

Mobile Filter Press FAQs

Can the mobile filter press be towed on a public road?

That depends on the actual carrier or trailer, its ratings and the applicable transport requirements. The reference product does not establish a road-approved trailer or permitted towing speed. Specify the transport arrangement in the quotation.

Does it need a foundation or site preparation?

Confirm the required support loads, ground condition, level, stability and access for the proposed equipment. A mobile installation still needs a suitable operating position; no universal foundation-free promise is made.

Are the feed pump, generator and compressor included?

The supplier page does not define a standard auxiliary-equipment package. List each item in the quotation, including utilities provided by the site. A compressor is not automatically required or suitable for every filtration configuration.

What does automatic mean for this product?

It is the supplier’s control description. Confirm closing, feed control, plate movement, discharge, cleaning and operator tasks individually. Automation does not establish continuous operation or a specific PLC, HMI or enclosure rating.

Can the unit operate outdoors in any weather?

State the expected rain, dust, ambient temperature and washdown conditions. Confirm enclosure and motor ratings, corrosion protection and any cover or shelter in the proposed scope; the source does not substantiate a universal weatherproof rating.

What capacity and cake moisture can I expect?

These depend on the slurry, conditioning, cloth, plate pack and complete cycle. Provide throughput with units and the required cake or filtrate condition, then review representative test data and the operating hours available after setup and relocation.
